Barbadian Sada Williams finished second in the women’s 400-metre at the Wanda Diamond League athletics meet in Lausanne, Switzerland on Thursday

The 23-year-old clocked 50.77 seconds just behind Tokyo 2020 silver medallist, Marileidy Paulino (50.40).

Running in lane seven, Williams had a decent start, appeared to relax coming out of the final bend and finished strong to claim the runners-up position in the first event of the meet. (AGB)
