Chad Antonio Denero Forde’s case was on the threshold of custodial sentence, said Justice Laurie-Ann Smith-Bovell.
However, she opted to fine him for having an illegal loaded firearm when he appeared in the No. 4 Supreme Court.
Forde, of Glebe Land, St George, was back for sentencing after he had pleaded guilty to having a .32-calibre firearm and six rounds of .32-calibre ammunition on January 30, 2019.
He was represented by attorneys Arthur Holder and Rhea Layne, while Crown Counsel Kevin Forde and Senior Crown Counsel Olivia Davis appeared for the prosecution. (HLE)
