With more than 80 people per day testing positive for COVID-19 for the month, Government has been forced to stand up another school as an isolation centre, while making adjustments to the Harrison Point facility to cater to those in primary and secondary care.
Minister of Health and Wellness Jeffrey Bostic disclosed that Christ Church Foundation School has been added to the list of schools becoming isolation centres.
It has joined Blackman and Gollop Primary, Queen’s College, Daryll Jordan Secondary and The Lester Vaughan School.
He explained that this will allow Government to convert the tertiary wing of Harrison Point in St Lucy into a secondary facility. (CLM)
