COVID-19 deaths rise to 63

Health authorities said on Thursday, a 53-year-old man was the 63rd COVID-19 death in Barbados.

He died at the Accident and Emergency department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital this past Tuesday.

His COVID-19 test, which was taken at the department on Tuesday, was returned on Wednesday, September 22, showing a positive result.

The deceased man had comorbidities and was unvaccinated.
