On the day Barbados crossed the 200 mark for positive COVID-19 cases, Government is now about to roll out its plans for home isolation and home quarantine.
Minister of Health Jeffrey Bostic said the plans would be pressed into action soon, as the isolation facilities were now dangerously close to the point of being overwhelmed.
However, consultant manager of home quarantine, Dr Adanna Grandison, said there were strict criteria which people must meet before they could be considered.
Speaking on television last night, Grandison said individuals would have to meet the lowest category of risk to qualify. She said vaccinated people and those asymptomatic would be high on the list. (CLM)
