COVID death toll climbs to 90

Two more people were added to the COVID-19 death toll, taking the total to 90 in Barbados.

A 55-year-old Barbadian man died from the virus on Thursday, October 7. He was in primary isolation at the Harrison Point Isolation Facility and was unvaccinated.

The death of a 61-year-old unvaccinated woman was also reported.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic extended sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. (BGIS)
