The mother in the viral video who appeared to be choking her one-year-old child was remanded to prison.

Saying that he must protect innocent children and send a message to other parents, Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes sent Shanice Nikita Alicia Reece, 27, a cleaner of Sargeants Village main road, Christ Church to prison until November 8.
