Five more COVID-related deaths

Five more people lost their battle with COVID-19.

On Friday, November 5, a 72-year-old fully vaccinated male died at the Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facility, while a 74-year-old unvaccinated male passed away at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility.

This morning, an unvaccinated 62-year-old man died at the Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, and at the Blackman and Gollop Facility, two women, aged 76 and 89, who were partially vaccinated and unvaccinated, respectively, succumbed to the virus.

The number of people who died as a result of COVID-19 in Barbados is now 175.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, extended condolences to the bereaved. (BGIS)
