Posters for the January 19, 2022 General Elections are already going up.

Less than 24 hours after Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley made the surprise announcement on Monday night, posters for Barbados Labour Party candidate for Christ Church West Dr William Duguid have been placed along Hastings.

Mottley made the announcement during an address to the nation that was streamed live across various platforms.

Nomination Day will be next Monday, January 3, 2022. This election comes a mere three years and eight months into the Barbados Labour Party term, after winning all 30 seats in May 2018. (KG)
