It will be 28 days on remand for a Christ Church man on four charges, including kidnapping.

Carson St Clair Bayley, a 46-year-old messenger/taxi operator, of Windsor Road, who was in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday, was not required to plead to unlawfully removing Wendy Harrison from Jessamine Avenue, Bayville, St Michael, without her consent; assaulting her; and damaging her spectacles on January 2.

He was also charged with, but pleaded not guilty to, assaulting Angela Boyce, occasioning her actual bodily harm on January 2.

Prosecutor Sergeant Victoria Taitt objected to bail, citing the nature and seriousness of the offences. She said two complainants were involved and they needed to be protected. (HLE)
