Visitor dies in accident along Gibbons

Barbados has recorded the second road fatality for 2022.

A woman died in the incident along Gibbons, Christ Church around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The other party was driving a truck.

Police public relations officer, acting inspector Rodney Inniss, said the deceased was a St Lucian national, a visitor to the island. Her family is yet to be informed, so no names are being released at this time.

Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact Oistins Police Station at 4182612. (SAT)
