Minister Of Health and Wellness, The Most Honourable Jeffrey Bostic, officially said goodbye to the ministry yesterday.

After more than three years on the job, the former military man made sure he thanked all those in the ministry in his last day in office, and also spoke about a number of projects completed during his tenure as a first-time minister.

Months ago, Bostic said he was leaving elective politics as Member of Parliament for the City of Bridgetown.

“I really enjoyed the job,” he told the media at the ministry’s headquarters on Culloden Road, St Michael.

“I enjoyed working with the staff at the Ministry of Health and Wellness and for me, those two together meant that I would rate my time here overall as a very enjoyable one. It has been very, very productive, and I’m glad that a number of things that the Prime Minister had tasked me with, plus some that I wanted to do on my own, we have been able to do,” he told staffers in an emotional exit.
