Phillips standing by promises

Residents in Alexandria, St Lucy, have been told that Government will fix the potholes in their area, while a park at Archer’s Bay is to be built shortly and ground will be broken later this week for a housing project in the northern parish.

These were among the promises repeated by re-elected Member of Parliament (MP) Peter Phillips during a thanksgiving service at the New Testament Church of God in Alexandria.

He said he was dedicated to honouring campaign promises to constituents.

“It’s not everything you ask for that you will get; sometimes God says no or wait. However, when you become a MP, you become a servant of the people and anytime you miss that mark, you need to get out and go. It is about delivering to your people,” Phillips said. (TG)
