COVID-related deaths at 289

A 53-year-old man is Barbados’ latest COVID-19 casualty.

He was unvaccinated and died on Tuesday, February 8, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department.

His death brings the death toll from the virus to 289.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Ian Gooding-Edghill, extended condolences to his loved ones. (BGIS)
