Charles Leslie, Barbados Water Authority’s Director of Engineering, said today that repairs continue at the Desalination Plant.

While giving an update, he said work is at an advanced stage but is being hampered by weather conditions.

Barbados is currently being affected by a trough system and is under flood watch.

Leslie said tankers will be used to assist customers in Lodge Hill, Shop Hill and surrounding areas.

Additionally, Leslie said that when repairs are completed, pumping should be resumed on Sunday. (PR)
