The man who succumbed to gunshot injuries after an incident at 7th Avenue New Orleans, St Michael, was identified as Merton Patrick Hinds.
The 56-year-old, who lived in the same area, received injuries to the chest and back and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private transport. He was later pronounced dead by a doctor while receiving treatment.
The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. (PR/SAT)
