Mother, daughter laid to rest together

Grace Christie was said to be the personification of her name.

Her daughter Gail Christie, although an only child, was selfless.

Those were some of the words used to describe the mother and daughter during their funeral service at Messiah Wesleyan Holiness Centre, Massiah Street, St John.

Gail, 49, who lived in the United States, died suddenly on Monday, April 11 and Grace, 72, died at her Pegwell Christ Church home on Friday, May 13.

Gail’s body was cremated and her ashes were placed in her mother’s casket. The burial took place at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens. (TG)
