Elderly man found dead at home

An elderly man was pronounced dead at the scene at Colleton Gardens, St Peter on Saturday.

He was discovered slumped and motionless in a chair in his house, with what appeared to be blood and a wound to his head.

Medical personnel were summoned, the ambulance team arrived, but found no sign of life. A medical doctor later visited the scene and pronounced death.

Police responded to the report around 12:25 p.m. and investigations are continuing.

The man’s name has not been made public. (PR/SAT)
