The Ministry of Health and Wellness has advised that due to a power outage in the areas of the Garrison and Dalkeith in St. Michael, the telephone lines at its Operations Centre are temporarily out of service.

This has affected the Centre’s capacity to receive and respond to COVID-19 queries via the landline service. However, cellphone access remains operational and members of the public are advised to contact the Centre via its cellphone numbers 836-7648 or 836-7646. These numbers can be used for emergency purposes until the matter is rectified. (PR)
