Fire destroys home at Date Tree Hill

Police are investigating a house fire, which occurred about 9:30 a.m. on Sunday at Date Tree Hill, St Peter.

The two bedroom, one bathroom timber and wall house which was destroyed, was owned by 69-year-old Isuma Corbin. A second structure near the house received heat and water damage.

Four fire tenders and eight fire officers under the command of Station Officer Scantlebury, Sub Officer Williams and Leading Fire Officer Foster from the Barbados Fire Service responded and extinguished the fire. There were no injuries. (PR/SAT)
