Traffic changes for Lighting Ceremony

Several changes to traffic flow have been put in place in The City to facilitate the Sagicor Life Inc. Lighting Ceremony, which takes places at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in National Heroes Square.

There is a partial closure of Trafalgar Street at its junction of Broad Street and High Street from noon until 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Closure of Wharf road at its junction with Marhill Street from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Vehicular traffic travelling along Upper Fairchild Street will not be allowed to turn right onto the Charles Duncan O’Neal Bridge between the hours of 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Tuesday.

Motorists will be allowed to turn left onto Probyn Street.

Traffic travelling along Lower Fairchild Street will not be allowed to turn left onto the Charles Duncan O’Neal bridge between the hours of 4 pm and 10 pm on Tuesday 1st November 2022.

Motorists will be allowed to travel onto upper Fairchild Street or right onto Probyn Street. (PR/SAT)
