Barbados Juniors secured a rare win in this year’s Barbados Hockey Federation League Cup with a 4-0 victory over the Barbados Union of Teachers (BUT) on Saturday at the National Hockey Centre in Wildey.

Two quick fire goals from Mikeal Yearwood in the 23rd minute and Dominic Toppin in the 27th minute gave Juniors the perfect platform on which to build a positive performance.

Darian Bailey got in on the action in the 36th minute and Yearwood completed the rout in the 46th minute.

Deacons punished Combermere School Old Scholars with a 3-1 triumph while All Stars claimed a 2-1 win over YMCA in Masters’ play to conclude Saturday’s action. (NM)
