Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley is encouraging Barbadians for this new year to focus on ways to help improve the country’s development at all levels.

In a wide-ranging national address, the PM said “we are at a difficult point in our country’s development,” and that some of the restructuring which started last year will to continue this year. Mottley added that in doing so, she recognises equally that “as we ask people to share the burden, wherever there is a bounty, we will also share it.”
