Proclaimed the Father of Barbados’ Independence, each year on January 21 is recognised and celebrated as the day in honour of Errol Barrow.

Margaret Knight, the mother of late for Prime Minister David Thompson, who was Errol Barrow’s personal secretary for several years and long-time Democratic Labour Party member, reflects on Barrow’s legacy in an interview with Nation News’ Akeel Lovell.
