A 25-year-old St Peter resident was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident early Sunday morning.
He was identified as Jakeem Romain Scantlebury-Bishop of Indian Ground by a family member.
The lone car accident occurred along the Warleigh Section of ABC Highway. The vehicle was going north and ran off the road into a bushy area on the left of the carriageway.
The passenger complained of pain to his neck, back and shoulder and was transported by ambulance personnel to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.
