A 62-year-old St Michael man has been found not guilty of having sex with his daughter.

The jury in the No. 2 Supreme Court deliberated for one and a half hours on Monday before returning its unanimous verdict.

The woman had testified that the man had sex with her at least twice between 2005 and 2011, and on each occasion it occurred at night.

She was seven years old in 2005 and a Class 1 student. She recalled getting flashbacks during that school year.

Referring to a second encounter, which she said happened while she was at secondary school, she told the court her father had sex with her until the sun came out the next morning. (SD)
