Former Commissioner of Police, Grantley Watson, passes

Former Commissioner of Police Grantley Watson has passed away at the age of 80.

Watson served as commissioner from 1995-2003 and was also the Executive Director of the Regional Security System (RSS) until he retired from the post in 2017.

A statement from the Barbados Police Service disclosed that Watson passed away after 7:00 pm on Saturday at his residence surrounded by family members.

He is survived by his wife Janet Watson, his daughter Tricia Watson, and two sons Ivor Watson and Winslow Watson.
