The domestic violence case against radio announcer Anthony “Admiral” Nelson was discontinued by the U.S Government when the matter came up for hearing this morning via Zoom in the Miami Dade County Court before Judge Yara Lorenzo Klukas.

The judge informed that the state was offering “no action” before dismissing the case.

Barbadian attorney-at-law Michael Lashley, who Nelson retained for advice told the Nation Newspaper that he also appeared virtually with attorney Fay Burke. Nelson was represented by US attorney Linsay Chase.

Nelson was arrested by Miami police on January 5, charged with domestic violence/battery of 31-year-old Tiffany Bourne. He was bonded in the sum of $3 000 and returned to Barbarbados on January 7.
