Another charged in connection with Grazette murder
Murder accused Lemario De-coursey Gill was remanded to HMP Dodds until November 4 when he appeared before Acting Magistrate Krystal Delaney in the District A Traffic Court on Thursday.
Gill, 30, of Clinkett’s Gardens, St Lucy, was charged with the murder of Kemar Grazette. The latter succumbed to injuries on September 3 after being shot on August 31 in the vicinity of Arsenal Playing Field in St Michael.
Other charges relate to the shooting incident.
These include the unlawful wounding of Carlos Taitt with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him, or to do some other serious bodily harm; he used a firearm and did not have a valid licence to do so and with other people used unlawful violence and their conduct, taken together, was such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his personal safety.
Gill was the subject of a wanted notice on October 1 and was reported to be in police custody three days later.
He is one of four people charged in connection with the incident. The others are Jared Stephen Highland-Best, 20; Jee-Vad Tevonne Griffith, 26 and Shaquon Rico Tion Goddard, 21. (PR/SAT)
