Getting down to music

Share post:

IT WAS ALL about the bass when some local musicians got to have a close-up with renowned bassist Marcus Miller at Divi Southwinds in Christ Church yesterday.
Miller, a headliner for the two-part FirstCaribbean International Christmas Jazz at The Plantation today and tomorrow at 8 p.m., was one of six musicians in the cast who hosted a near two-hour workshop to budding and established musicians.
They gave tips on making it in the business of music, but the session could easily have been a dress rehearsal for tonight’s big show, which has been soldl-out for more than a week.
