Sarwan named in Windies 30-man squad

ST JOHN’S – Out-of-favour batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan has been named in a 30-man West Indies squad to prepare for next year’s Cricket World Cup in Asia.
The 30-year-old right-hander was axed ahead of the tour of Sri Lanka last month and denied a West Indies Cricket Board central retainer contract over fitness issues.
Leg-spinners Devendra Bishoo and Anthony Martin have been included along with young fast bowler Jason Holder and batsman Jonathan Carter.
