Barbadians love to enjoy a dish of flying fish, and when they do it’s all due to the hard work of the fishermen.
In preparation for the upcoming flying fish season many boat owners are carrying out repairs to their vessels. The season officially begins around mid-November and runs until about July.
However, some argue that over the years their catch has been dwindling. Some further complain that they have not been able to make enough money from the trade to carry out repairs.
