Four Government entities are among more than 900 defaulters that have been exposed by the National Insurance Board.
The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Sanitation Service Authority (SSA), National Housing Corporation (NHC) and the Transport Board are on a list of 913 employers, people and organizations published in the SUNDAY SUN today.
Several businesses and self-employed people have also been identified as owing the National Insurance Scheme (NIS) as of the beginning of this month.
“The names shown are those against whom Unpaid National Insurance Certificates have been filed and served, who have not made satisfactory arrangements to liquidate the outstanding debt, who have not adhered to arrangements made and/or do not submit current contributions when they become due,” the notice states.
