If there was any doubt that members of the Barbados Association of Retired Persons could throw a party, one just had to be at the Frank Collymore Hall last Saturday to witness them in action at their variety concert titled Something’s Always Happening.
And there was never a dull moment as the cream of local senior talent entertained the audience through song, dance and poetry which reflected everyday happenings in Barbados.
Here, Simon Alleyne, playing the role of a Customs officer, donning his gloves before searching the luggage of an irate cruise passenger (Majorie Maxwell) at Customs, in a skit called Customs Confrontation.
