School’s tribute to Gregory

THIRTEEN-YEAR-Old Gregory Cox was remembered yesterday as a student who laughed, was a good friend, held the bags of fellow students while sitting in the school bus, and one who took his punishment humbly.
The accolades were showered on the Princess Margaret Secondary School student in an inspirational memorial service at the school, following his death on Sunday after being reportedly crushed against Oistins jetty by the boat.
Contributions came from guidance counsellor Corynne Haynes, who did a Bible reading; teacher Ricardo Jones, who delivered a short sermon; teacher David McCarthy, who sang The Prayer, and the staff chorale whose renditions included There is a Place for Little Children.
The closing prayer was by deputy principal Wayne Willock.
