Thakurdeo Heeraman, 35, has been charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of just over 12 kilos of cannabis.

Heeraman arrived in Barbados last Saturday as part of a tug boat crew which was towing a barge with produce from Guyana.
