Elderly man injured in accident

AN ACCIDENT at the corner of Sandy Lane and Molyneux Road, St James earlier today has left a 76-year-old man with injuries to his head, shoulder and back.

Denis Wentworth-Linton of Barracks Hill, Christ Church had to be removed from his car by fire officers after his vehicle and a truck driven by James Boyce, 51, of Kingsland, Christ Church collided.

Boyce was reportedly unharmed while Wentworth-Linton was transported by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The accident occurred around 2:55 p.m. and caused a diversion of traffic in the area. (AC)
