Teen queen gives up title

REIGNING Miss Teen Barbados Universal 2015, Aaleah Harris, has given up her title.

In a short letter hand-delivered to director of Sparkles International, Clairmonte Grazette, on Monday evening, Harris informed him formally of her resignation.

In the letter, she indicated she was resigning “due to a breach of a verbal agreement between her mother Annette Harris and . . . Grazette”.

Questionable acts, “disorganisation, embarrassment and the risk of safety of my mother and I during Teen Universe International Pageant held in Costa Rica from February 23 to March 1” were also cited as reasons why she returned the crown.
