A WORKER AT the South Coast Sewage Plant was injured on the job.

Around 5:50 p.m. on Wednesday, Alvin Davis was carrying out maintenance on a pump down a “wet” well at a depth of 15 feet when his left foot became trapped.

Police say the 53-year-old Simmons Land, Rendezvous, Christ Church resident was extracted by the Fire Service.

He suffered a deep cut to the leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment. (CA)
