Ellerton back in Premier League

GUESS who’s back in the top flight?

Five seasons after last appearing in Premier League football, Ellerton Football Club are set to play with the big boys once again after gaining promotion from the Barbados Football Association First Division competition.

The men from St George finally booked their return trip with four games remaining by edging Porey Spring 2-1 on Monday night in St Thomas.

Romario Watson opened the scoring for Ellerton in the 30th minute before Renaldo Phillips got loose to double the score five minutes after the break.  (JM)
