PM: Change must come

STRUCTURAL changes and adjustments have become necessary not only for the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) but for all organisations, including Governments to meet today’s changing world.

That advice came from Dr Keith Mitchell as he delivered the 19th Sir Frank Worrell Memorial Lecture on Wednesday night at the Cave Hill Campus of the University of the West Indies.

“Today’s complex, competitive and rapidly changing world requires a fundamental shift in our thinking,” Dr Mitchell told an audience gathered in the Roy Marshall Teaching Complex as he spoke on the topic West Indies Cricket In The 21st Century; Continuity And Change.

He revealed that organisations everywhere were being forced to change their self-image, thinking and the way they conducted business.  (EZS)
