Haddock in for fourth CUT Games

LEILANI HADDOCK is looking to go out on top.

The talented teenage sprinter will hope her swansong is a successful one as Barbados prepares to wrestle the athletics title back from Jamaica at the biennial Caribbean Union of Teachers (CUT) Games in Tortola from July 15 to 16.

The full 40-member team, including Haddock and three other Foundation athletes, was named during yesterday’s Press conference at the Barbados Union of Teachers’ (BUT) headquarters detailing the arrangements for the under-15 meet.

It’s a very seasoned squad, with no fewer than 13 athletes returning from the team that contested the 2014 games in Trinidad, where the Bajans surrendered their crown to Jamaica.
