I never did it!

AS 58-YEAR-OLD Edward Irvin Gibson limes with his friends at Zoares Land, Martin’s Bay, St John, he can say he is a free man in more ways than one.

He is free firstly because he has been exonerated from a charge of rape after having the accusation hanging over his head for over a decade, and secondly, he can sleep well because he says his conscience is clear and he can get on with his life.

Gibson said for about 14 years he was on bail for the offence, accused of a crime that he did not commit.

On Tuesday he walked out of court without any evidence being presented against him and he said it was a day to which he was looking forward. (TSG)
