Water outages likely in three parishes

THE BARBADOS WATER Authority (BWA) wishes to inform the public that as part of the mains laying project in package ‘B’ there will be a shut down along Glenburnie and St Margaret’s, St John on Wednesday, July 13 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

This is to facilitate the commissioning of a ten inch main from Benn Spring to Box by Box, Cattlewash, St Joseph.

Residents in the following areas may experience low water pressure or water outages and are asked to store an adequate amount of water for the duration of the shutdown:

St Margaret’s, Glenburnie and Foster Hall in St John; Tent Bay, Bathsheba, Joes River, St Elizabeth, Cattlewash and East Coast Road in St Joseph; Belleplaine, Lakes, Isolation Road, Franklin Doughlin Road, Babylon, Walkers, Shorey Village, Chalky Mount, Cambridge, Bruce Vale, St Simons, Bawdens, Cane Garden, Bruce Vale, Baxters in St Andrew.
