THE ROLE OF THE POLICE is to protect and serve, but one hurt widow said she has lost faith in the entire justice system.

Marleen Knight, widow of Selwyn “Blues” Knight, who was allegedly shot by Constable Everton Gittens, said she now has trust issues after her husband’s alleged killer was granted bail last Friday.

“I don’t know who to trust. If somebody come to interfere with me, I don’t know who to trust. I don’t know if I can go to the police and get assistance, so that’s the way it is,” she said.

Her husband’s death made headlines after he was killed on March 15, 2015. (TSG)
