Women praised for child care work

THE STERLING WORK several women have done in child care in Barbados has been recognised by the Rotary Club of Barbados.

Chairman Winston Warren introduced the Pride of Workmanship award at a recent ceremony held at the Accra Beach Hotel.

He said in Rotary, vocational service was the only avenue of service which focused entirely on the contribution of individuals and their commitment to service and community.

There were three recipients of the award – Davina Reid, Brenda Grosvenor-Lovell and Linda Seales. (LK)
