Man charged in connection with Vauxhall shooting

MORE THAN SIX MONTHS after a shooting in Vauxhall that left several people injured, a man has been charged in connection with the incident.

Tahriel Dario Prescod, 25 years, of Sergeant Village, Christ Church, is facing two counts of serious bodily harm, one count each of use of firearm and violent disorder.

These offences were committed on May 5.

A number of men who were liming in the area received gunshot injuries.

When Prescod appeared before Magistrate Graveney Bannister in the Traffic Court on Saturday, he was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds, to reappear in the Oistins Court on December 9. (PR/SAT)
