FIFTY-SIX WORKERS have been separated from Scotiabank in Barbados as part of its recent restructuring programme.
But many of those may not be on the breadline for very long, since the company will still be providing opportunities for them to secure new roles.
This has been confirmed by Scotiabank managing director in the Eastern Caribbean, David Noel.
“A total of 56 employees were directly impacted by the changes, although it is difficult to say exactly how many will be displaced as a number of them will still secure new roles,” he told the SUNDAY SUN. (BA)
