Lions spank Royals

HUNDREDS of cricket fans witnessed a case of blatant “child abuse” in Queen’s Park on Sunday night, but not even the “victims” complained.

Indeed, an enjoyable time was had by all who attended the Twenty20 tapeball cricket match between the Starcom/NATION Conquering Lions and the Child Care Board (CCB) Royals.

The match climaxed activities which began earlier in the afternoon with the Nation’s Bajan Tuh De Bone Funathlon 5K run/walk.

It brought the Lions’ 2016 season to a successful climax, as they extended their unbeaten run in fun matches to five. (WH)
