FOLLOWING AN ACCIDENT-RIDDEN Saturday morning, a general insurance industry executive has indicated it was time for Government to finally get involved and put a stop to the yearly glut of Crop Over vehicular accidents.
As day broke yesterday following Foreday Mornin’ that kicked off the festival weekend, social media was awash with multiple images of vehicular accidents.
The Royal Barbados Police Force public relations officer, Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler, confirmed there were nine reported accidents yesterday morning alone.
The most serious of these occurred at St Stephen’s Hill, St Michael, where a motor car which collided with a utility pole around 7:10 a.m. injuring three people. (AD)
